- Install the FLOATube™: Instead of fueling from the bottom of a tank where the problems occur, installing the FLOATube will allow for suction from the middle of the tank away from the contaminated layers while continuing to maximize the inventory of the tank.
- Adopt a Fuel Quality Assurance Program tailored to your needs: Yearly tank and fuel inspection and replacement of worn or broken parts ensures that problems are corrected before they cause a catastrophe. Video inspection of the tank’s interior with our SNAKE-EYE positively identifies the condition of the fuel and the tank. Yearly fuel conditioning with inhibitor will combat repolymerization, microbiological growth, and water. Yearly sludge removal (1% of the volume of the tank) with the SludgeLine system extracts the residual created by the natural degradation processes that occur within the tank. And as a certified EPA non-hazardous waste management center, we will take care of the sludge disposal.

Diesel Tank Cleaning
for Emergency Power Systems
When an Emergency Power System (EPS), or backup generator, is tested periodically for functionality, the contents of the fuel storage tank are agitated. If water and/or contaminants are present, the filters on the diesel engines will clog causing the EPS to fail.
To prevent EPS failure, fuel in storage should be routinely inspected and treated with inhibitor, and tanks should be cleaned as necessary.
