Diesel Tank Cleaning
for Emergency Power Systems
When an Emergency Power System (EPS), or backup generator, is tested periodically for functionality, the contents of the fuel storage tank are agitated. If water and/or contaminants are present, the filters on the diesel engines will clog causing the EPS to fail.
To prevent EPS failure, fuel in storage should be routinely inspected and treated with inhibitor, and tanks should be cleaned as necessary. Petroleum Recovery Services was the first company in the eastern US completely dedicated to diesel fuel maintenance and tank cleaning. We have been educating our clients since we opened in 1997 about what happens inside an EPS fuel storage tank and the importance of protecting expensive equipment with our excellent preventative maintenance program managed by our team of experienced associates and technicians.
Natural processes within fuel, faulty equipment and moisture cause fuel quality problems in all fuel storage tanks. It is our job to educate our clients about these issues, analyze their fuel, inspect their tanks, correct any existing fuel storage problems and provide preventive fuel and tank maintenance.
We are proud to be the leader in the industry of fuel quality specialists. We have designed innovative tank accessories to prevent the problems presented by contaminants and sludge in fuel storage tanks. We look forward to helping you protect your assets and conserve our Earth’s natural resources.
